Our Story

Welcome to Sairah’s Corner.

As a family run, independent bookstore, our aim is to celebrate diverse talent from across the world. We believe that ALL children deserve to see themselves in the stories they read regardless of race or creed. Our aim is to ensure that every child has access to books that will inspire them, empower them and allow them to navigate themselves in the world beyond the pages they read.

Here at Sairah’s Corner, we want our stories to stay with you. Our books are driven by the desire to make sure our daughter can encounter heroes of all shapes, sizes and colours. Our handpicked titles serve to cater for underrepresented communities who struggle to find stories they identify with - stories that were missing from our very own bookshelves growing up. 

Like any storyteller, we believe that every reader can lose themselves in the pages of a book. Here at Sairah’s Corner, we want them to find themselves in there too.
